At Attrezzi we believe it's important to entertain and play with passion and curiosity, and wine is one of our most favorite of passions. Wine is a social experience of it's own worth celebrating, from selecting the perfect bottle for the occasion to pairing it with an unforgettable meal among friends and family.

To complement our great selection of kitchen accessories, Attrezzi offers a recently expanded wine cellar situated on the second level. Although our cave may be small, it's big on heart and service. Since individuals all respond differently to the types and flavors of wines - sweet, tannic, robust, or light wines, we cover the full spectrum of wines from Soave to Brunello to Ice Wine and everything in between. Our staff welcome questions and are more than willing to spend the time understanding your tastes and palate so that we may recommend wines that you will appreciate. To us it's not about ratings from people we have never met, it's about finding the perfect wine for our customers and engaging in conversation along the way. 

We understand that you can't always judge a book by it's cover, or in this case, a wine by it's label. This is why we place great emphasis on providing tastings of our wines to customers on a regular basis. Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, we open a number of wines from our shelves to share with our customers. It's a fun stop when in downtown Portsmouth, and a great way to experience our hand-picked wine selections.

Another way to sample our wine is to take one of our many cooking classes, where wine and food pairing is always a central part of the experience. 

We also feature wine themed special events generally in the form of regular visits from wine professionals - from winemakers and those involved in the trade to culinary experts on food and wine pairings.

Attrezzi has also started the Seacoast's first and only Wine Club, designed to increase the social aspect of wine, educating and inspiring our customers in the Portsmouth area and beyond to sample and learn about the world of wine, with the Attrezzi kitchen as our base of operations.
